Kasol, the dope capital of the world in Himachal Pradesh, also known as the Mini Israel of India, offers a lot but with a cost. Before I proceed with the article and my recommendations, Here are a few images that will surely take you to the aura of KASOL.
1. Enjoy the Music ( Literally Everywhere )
2. Don’t forget to eat ( a lot )
Kasol is famous for its cafes and its not famous just like that. Israeli food is in abundance and is on the menu in almost every restaurant.
Then there is GERMAN BAKERY, I simply can not tell you how awesomely tasty rolls, cakes and cookies they have in contrast to their presentation. A MUST MUST have after your main course.
3. Sit on the rocks by the Bank of River Parvati
The infamous killing fields of Khymer Rouge is an absolute, not to miss sight seeing while you are on a trip to Cambodia especially Phnom Penh.
How to get there. If you are few people travelling together, then tuk-tukk is the best and i guess only option other than Taxi. I didn’t find any buses or public transport there to reach The killing fields. It is quite far from the main city area, where we stayed. The tuk tuk ride isn’t the most pleasant especially if its a bright sunny day.
The Killing field has a Museum and an ornamental outbuilding, along with the vast fields that have markings and write-ups describing the tragic incidents of genocides in the past.
At the main entrance you will find the ticket counter. Ticket is almost $20, and you get an audio device that has recordings of descriptions of all the spots.

Cambodia Night Life
The capital city of Cambodia Phnom-Penh is a subdued gem of a place, an underdog of South East Asia. Let me tell you upfront that the nightlife of Phnom Penh is the most underrated and least talked about, but it is in for a lot of pleasant surprises.
The river Mekong flows through the capital and Wat Phnom is the most happening place, full of bars and nightclubs.
A Hidden Gem – Crab-island
Visiting KualaLumpur is all about being in a city of skyscrapers. I had always wanted to see the countryside or rural Malaysian life. Here is one good option that is diversely vibrant out of the city of Kuala-Lumpur. If you are staying in KL and you have a day to spare, an amazing option is a one day tour to Crab- Island. The best Visual Guide from Kuala-lumpur Malaysia to Pulau Ketam, Crab Island via Port Klang
Pulau Ketam or crab island is an island situated near the port town of Port Klang. So here it is.
1. Take KTM Kommuter from KL central in Kuala Lumpur to port Klang, which is the last station on this line.
2. Take ferry from Port Klang to Crab-Island.
Port Klang is the last station on the line from KL Sentral KTM Commuter. The ticket is around 7 Ringits.
The KL rapid prepaid card won’t work on this line as this is pretty far away from Kuala-Lumpur. Its around 1 hour and 10 minutes ride. But the train is centrally air-con and well maintained, so it is comfortable.
Here is the run
Here is the video of Port Klang railway station.
From Port Klang you need to take ferry to crab island. Its around 15 ringits for return journey, totally worth the money. Its an air-con ferry and takes about 40 minutes and passes through several backwaters.
Here is a video of the entry to crab island.
This is special in Crab Island, The oyster omelette. Have a look, seems a lot of fish oil.
Out of the crab island, this AC ferry will take you back to the port klang.
