What’s in the Glass?

Lens Glass for Wide angle.

In this tutorial Exercise, we are going to appreciate the glass quality of the lenses and understand how specific purpose lens are best suited to perform in that arena.

Image 1 is taken with Tamron Wide angle lens which automatically sets the f number to f/4.2 to make the image more sharper also along the edges, whereas Nikon 18-55, a kit lens produces a softer image with f/3.5.

Second minor difference is the frame difference, though very slight. its there.

Tamron gives a more wider appeal to the photo.

I hope you test the same and compare glass and compositions to better understand lens and their pros and cons.

Thanks for the sensible critique. Me & my neighbor were just preparing to do some research about this. We got a grab a book from our local library but I think I learned more clear from this post. I’m very glad to see such great info being shared freely out there.
